  Dr. Teglia is a horrific pediatric dentist. I would not recommend taking your child to My Kids Smile with her in Sparks. First they require you to be on time or even 15 minutes early for your appointment or they will make you reschedule, yet they have no issues being 15-20 minutes behind your scheduled appointment time. Her bedside manner is undesirable and maybe she skipped this training in her schooling. My 6 year old has required multiple dental visits that are quite scary. During an initial visit for a crown, she wanted to stop mid procedure with a gapping whole in my child's tooth because he was uncooperative. Then proceeded to tell me as a mother I was to intesne for my own child. At a follow up appointment for sealants of adult molars my same child who had a horrific experience the first go around was upset and screaming, Dr. Teglia proceeded to tell me that if he continues to scream she will not continue because he is scaring other kids in the office. This to me shows that she is clearly more worried about her business and others rather than concerning herself with making my child and myself feel comfortable and confident in her work. I am appalled and have never been treated in such a discriminatory demeaning manner by any other medical professionals. If you're looking for a warming environment and knowing that your child's needs come first avoid making an appointment with Dr. Teglia at all costs.
