- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr Chen is an excellent GI Doctor. I had pancreas problems and Dr. Chen was highly recommended for my pancreas problems. Dr. Chen explained my diagnoses in detail and answered all my questions to my understanding. Due to my situation, Dr. Chen sent my biopsies for further testing for a second medical evaluation to reaffirm all my test results were not worrisome . - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Referred by family physician due to severe problems along with pain. Saw Dr. McCracken on May 22nd. Doctor did not care about pain level nor did he show any real concern towards the issues I was having. Doctor was more interested in an endoscopy than a colonoscopy because I have heartburn that is medicated. Figured I better do both if that's what it will require to get help with my lower GI problems. Procedure was scheduled for August 21st with a follow up appt. on August 28th. (That is 3 months from the first appointment!) Scheduling would not schedule earlier, nor would they schedule for another facility they own. I was emailed at the end of May for a "how are we doing" survey. I shared my experience and requested to be contacted. I kept the survey respectable and polite. No one from the company ever called or emailed back. I received a call in June to reschedule the follow up visit because Dr. McCracken would not be in. They would not schedule me with another physician. Just received a call today (July 10th) to cancel the procedure and push it out to October. That would make it 5 months after the initial visit that I would finally get the procedure done. Mind you, I am still in pain and the issues I am having are affecting my daily life. I just fired this facility because this company stinks. I will head back to my regular physician and request a different referral. Unless your going in for a routine procedure, I would avoid this facility (South Reno).April 23, 2017by Kelli I
